Stichting Kunsttraject exhibits in the Kunsttraject windows in the Staatsliedenbuurt Amsterdam, where Jacquie Maria Wessels has lived for nearly 40 years, a selection of works from Wessels' photo series Fringe Nature, Garage Stills, Garage Faces and Cityscapes. The carefully composed analogue photographs are sometimes alienating and surreal, but they are documents of disappearing worlds as well. The painterly works show refined lines with challenging colour formations and staging that surprise and have an attractive beauty. The photographs are on show day and night.
